The Villa, even though close to the town centre, is part of a rural context that still preserves the original fascination and beauty of the typical countryside of this area of the Sicilian hinterland.
In the heart of Sicily, in the city, which houses the archaeological site, which is one of the most important findings of the classical period, Villa Romana del Casale, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. From Villa TRIGONA you can quickly and easily reach many interesting places of history and culture of our beautiful country.
DESCRIPTION:
The rooms, which feature air conditioning and are fitted with en-suit bathroom, are all soberly furnished bearing in mind a perfect synthesis of functionality and elegance.
Each room is different both for lay-out and furniture, which only includes pieces belonging to the Villa’s original.The Villa’s common areas include various lounges, a lounge with a fireplace, a small library, a room with audio and video facilities.
The remarkable breakfast, which in summer is served in the great courtyard in the shade of the acacias, offers a vast and rich selection from sweet to savoury, also including typical local products.
A personal and particular touch of the owners, who are members and appreciators of the Slow Food circuits, is a plus of Villa Trigona’s gastronomy. Excellent meals exclusively cooked for the Villa’s guests can be enjoyed upon reservation.

Guests can also enjoy other facilities: an archery area, a bowls pitch, a play area, table tennis, board games and mountain bikes. Horse rides can be organised on request.
Excursions: the Casale Roman Villa with its splendid mosaics, Piazza Armerina with its fascinating and ancient historical centre, Caltagirone, home of artistic ceramic as well as beautiful small town where Baroque and Liberty styles co-habit, Morgantina, with its remarkable archaeological area, the Nature- Oriented Reserve of Russomanno, the Mining Park of Floristella, the castles and the lakes of the Enna area, the Etna , the highest volcano in Europe, with all its small satellite towns, the nearby Noto Valley, with Modica and the gems of its interesting hinterland and many other internationally renowned tourism sights.
