I would recommend this Palazzo Gamba to anyone wanting to stay at a central location in Florence. The apartment was huge, and overlooked the Duomo. The airconditioning also kept it really comfortable which you really need in July in Florence.

Great location and excellent helpful staff avabilable 12-8 p.m. Very clean with nice small kitchen. (Elevator did not work one night, though--so a lot of stairs if you can´t walk up!) Highly recommend!

Christiano and Katerina were extremely nice and very helpful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

For location, there is no place more central. However, the street outside can be noisy. That said, the staff were great and I would recommend this place.
